What are we to be?
He asked poignantly
Where do we go from here
a devilish orb of sphere
The root of our misery
stems from a Marxist ideology
His heart weeps dry for Romania's
ancient nobility
We have been brutalized
our mind forced to submit
Systematically mongrelized
'til all our citadels suffer defeat
The root of our misery
stems from Marxist ideology
His heart weeps dry for Romania's
ancient nobility
What is the difference between
capitalism, communism, and fascism?
Is it mere liberty, equality, and prosperity?
or the diabolical class warfare waged eternally?
The root of our misery
stems from Marxist ideology
His heart weeps dry for Romania's
ancient nobility
He sees his Romania swaddled in decay
Youth with no direction future in disarray
Ignorance with confusion effused dissipation
yet his soul feeds vision of revival's commission
The root of our misery
stems from Marxist ideology
His heart weeps dry for Romania's
ancient nobility
Do not misjudge him as progress' foe
nor a fool for his Ideal's hope he saw
Oh, Romania hearken to his steady plea
Courage and hope with unified strength not to flee
very intersting verses....you reached here the powerfull points of consequences of the comminsim from Romania! you used tough words....exactly what Romania needs to wake the fuck up !
The repetittive stanza with ''the root of our misery'' is exceptional thinked ! it's a conclusive truth of romanian drama and it's presented like a echo,a cry after every stanza.....tocuhing! The communism was a sleeping pill for Romania....and people devoured it ....some of theme without payment and others ....with strife....Romania dozed and dreamed for 44 years....and now masses are indulgeing with the situation and say : ''the regime was the blame!that's the situation....we have nothing to do''....but....the situation can be changed....but...it's hard with people like these who have the brains sedated yet....they don't have in vocabulary the words like these,''consistency''.''
whatever...I deviated a lot from the subject......sicerely congratulations and respect for this poem....Cugir salute you ! thank you very much for the links you write under the poem....ou...I like Stefan Serbanescu's works....I didn't met he yet but he seems to be a smart and talented guy
We'll talk more detailed about the verses after-tommorow I think....I have a lot of words to say but now I'm very tired and and this night I'll go in a little trip with two friends....in a medieval town [ Sighisoara ] to make some photos and study the arhitecture.... have a wonderful day !
